Compare services and feesWhen an online review is useful
A remote consultation can help homeowners, specialist contractors and developers clarify the question, organise available evidence and decide whether further inspection would be proportionate. We can discuss the visible issue, the reported history and documents supplied after an initial enquiry.
What we can assess remotely
- Photographs and video showing visible plastering, rendering or EWI concerns
- Drawings, quotations and installation records relevant to the question
- Available manufacturer instructions for the specified system and revision
- The defect timeline, locations and previous remedial work
- What additional evidence or physical measurements may be necessary
How the online review works
- Submit a brief enquiry and describe the issue and intended use of the advice
- We check competence, impartiality and whether a remote assessment is appropriate
- We confirm the agreed scope, format and cost before booking
- Meet by video or arrange a focused document and photograph review
- Receive the agreed verbal advice or written observations, with limitations explained
What a remote review cannot establish
Photographs and video cannot verify concealed work, actual adhesion, moisture levels or dimensions that have not been measured. A full technical inspection report is not included unless separately commissioned. A site visit or further specialist testing may be recommended.
Discuss your next step
If the evidence is insufficient for a remote opinion, we'll explain whether a site inspection or a different specialist is more suitable.
